Indonesia
Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world. With almost 240 million people, it is also the fourth most populous country in the world. Nevertheless it is a very interesting tourist destination which has a lot to offer. Apart from some sightseeing tours from Singapore we only have been to Bali and Central Java so far. But we would like to discover a lot more of this amazing country like the wild and rugged Sumatra, or the jungles of Borneo, the cultural treasures of Java and the spectacular scenery of Sulawesi.
For the time being, we would like to introduce you to the natural wonders of Bali, the island of the Gods, and Central Java, the Land of the Volcanoes.
Bali is a very popular visitor destination in Indonesia. The island is a blend of unique culture, picturesque beaches, night life, spectacular highland regions and a fascinating range of travel opportunities. This makes it one of the favourites amongst global travellers. From our Bali experience we recommend to stay a couple of days in Ubud the cultural heart of the island, and then discover the central mountain range with its beautiful crater lakes and majestic mountains. Another area we liked very much is the northern part of Bali. Very quiet and unique, far away
from the hustle and bustle of the southern tourist centres you will enjoy Singaraja, the old capital and the small town of Lovina well known for its black beaches and well organized boat trips to see dolphins.
